The recipe is quite simple and the flavor is neutral so you can add other ingredients to give them that little extra, I usually divide the dough and add some chocolate chips, pecans and peanut butter to it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 200gr. unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 200gr pecans chopped
Directions
- Cream the butter together with the sugar in a large bowl. You want to get a creamy butter texture.
- Add the egg yolks one by one while mixing.
- Stir in the flour and pecans and mix together.
- Using a cookie cutter shape the dough and place on a cookie tray
- Bake the cookies for 10-15 mins until golden.
Tip: You can leave the pecans out to get neutral cookies, or you can divide the dough and add other ingredients to make different flavors cookies.
